Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review corporate tax returns to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Manage sales tax filings and address related inquiries.
- Record journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
- Oversee general ledger activities, including account reconciliations.
- Handle collections processes and resolve outstanding payment issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting procedures.
- Analyze financial data to support decision-making and reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all tax documents.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and accounting standards. Requirements - Proven experience in corporate tax preparation and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of sales tax regulations and processes.
- Proficiency in journal entries and general ledger management.
- Familiarity with collections procedures and strategies.
- Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Understanding of current tax laws and accounting principles.
