Qualifications
  • Candidate should be pursuing or hold a Bachelor’s degree in music performance/education or equivalent music degree
  • Experience teaching music in their area of expertise.
  • Candidate should possess competency to engage in our distinctly Christian and Classical model with a passion for teaching music in a variety of approaches, styles, and formats.
  • Candidates should be willing to commit to two years or more of teaching in order to maintain stability and consistency in the program.
Brass Instructor (trumpet, trombone, euphonium/baritone) Compensation

Pays at a rate of $27.00 per half hour lesson with no benefits.
Students are guaranteed a total of 28 lessons during the school year. A comprehensive schedule would be provided. Some measure of flexibility in scheduling can be arranged, however we are looking for the final candidate to be at school at least two days per week, potentially more depending on student interest.

Candidates must be willing to sign CCA’s Statement of Faith and Core Values. Must maintain the highest Christian virtue and personal decorum, serving as a Christian role model and mentor both in and out of school, to students, parents, fellow faculty members and employees in judgment, dignity, respect, and Christian living.

All interested candidates should submit a letter of interest and professional resume (showing no gaps in employment).

Position will remain open until filled. Candidate interviews will be scheduled following review of requested material. Position may be filled at anytime through the search process once a desired candidate has been identified.
