Job DescriptionTLC Special Education Teacher:
School year
TLC (Therapeutic Learning Center) special education programs focus on individualized education plans (IEPs), behavioral intervention (ABA), and therapeutic support to help students build academic and social-emotional supports.
Teacher who will inspire, empower, and challenge our students to pursue excellence in reaching their potential. Professional educators and community partners collaborate to ensure success at the highest level in a safe, student-centered environment. We are a community of life-long learners who value the individual while promoting integrity, courage, and the acceptance of differences.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree and appropriate Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license.
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
- Bilingualism is a highly desired skill for a position, but not a requirement
