Location:

United States, Massachusetts, Peabody.

Salary range: $80,000 to $140,000.

Responsibilities
  • Manage project teams to complete engineering tasks including airspace and earthwork volume calculations, prepare and review technical reports
  • Design stormwater management, leachate collection, and landfill gas collection systems
  • Perform geotechnical analyses and prepare landfill grading plans, project details and specifications
  • Develop proposals, project budgets and schedules, manage engineering staff, and perform quality control
  • Interact with clients, contractors, and local/state government officials, overseeing projects from conceptual and design phases through regulatory review, bidding, and construction
  • Partner with management teams to mentor staff, conduct annual performance reviews, and establish development goals
  • Travel to Raynham or Peabody office locations as required
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in civil engineering or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent;
    Master’s degree preferred
  • Professional Engineer licensure (P.E.) required
  • Proficiency with technical software including AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydraulic/hydrologic modeling, and geotechnical modeling software
  • Established contacts within the solid waste client sector
  • Ability to manage project portfolios exceeding $250,000 in annual professional fee revenue
  • Experience in scope of service and budget (proposal) development and managing projects profitably
  • Participation in client‑ and professional‑development organizations
  • Strong communication skills with staff, clients, contractors, and regulatory officials
  • Experience coordinating regulatory agency review processes
