Job Description- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geology or related field
- 7+ years of geotechnical experience as either a consultant or a contractor.
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineering (P.E.) license preferred
- Experience with geotechnical software such as Slide, RSWall, Settle, RS2, and LPile desirable

About UsAt Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), we're looking for a Geotechnical Project Manager to join our growing team in greater Boston, MA. You'll work on a wide range of projects across real estate, power, data center, public infrastructure and solid waste sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute geotechnical subsurface investigations
- Coordinate and monitor field drilling and sampling operations
- Prepare boring logs and develop field and laboratory testing programs
- Analyze lab data and perform geotechnical design calculations (settlement, slope stability)
- Prepare geotechnical reports and calculation packages of varying complexity
- Provide design recommendations for building foundations, cuts and fills, retaining walls, landslides, and flexible/rigid pavements
- Prepare geotechnical design submittals for retaining walls, slope repairs, and ground improvement
- Manage construction materials testing services, including earthwork, foundations (shallow, deep, ground improvement), concrete, masonry, and asphalt pavement
- Supervise and mentor technical staff and field personnel
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
