Pinpoint Laser Systems has an opening for a detail-oriented Applications Engineer with strong, hands-on, mechanical skills and a technically oriented background with proven Industrial sales growth history. We are looking for a candidate who will join and help strengthen our dynamic team environment.

Our team is based in a modern, newly renovated facility with engineering and alignment labs, full manufacturing capabilities, machine shop, on-line video demonstration facility, and comfortable work spaces. We share ideas and strongly support team collaboration on customer projects, new product design, sales, and marketing projects.

The ideal candidate should have proven engineering and sales growth history and solid B2B experience with mechanical equipment and assemblies, manufacturing systems and mechanical design along with the ability to work with customers in a sales engineering role. Computer experience with CRM, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is needed. Solid Works and machine shop experience is highly desirable.

• Proven experience with Sales and building customer relationships
• Minimum of 5 years of hands on experience in a growing manufacturing operation
• Mechanical, Technical, Engineering experience with Solid Works
• Comfortable with customers and developing alignment/measuring solutions
• Ability to understand and explain engineering problems
• Innovative & creative participation with sales and manufacturing teams
• Interest in working with industrial customers on solutions and designs
• Comfortable in industrial and factory environments
