Job Overview
TD Premier Banker – responsible for managing a portfolio of mass‑affluent clients, delivering a complete banking relationship, and driving growth, retention, and service excellence across retail, commercial, wealth, and lending solutions.
Responsibilities- Proactively outreach and manage a book of mass‑affluent clients, driving growth and deepening relationships.
- Explain banking solutions and act as a liaison with internal partners in small business, wealth, commercial, and lending.
- Acquire, retain, and deepen relationships via referrals, leads, and outbound prospecting.
- Conduct needs‑based conversations, review financial information, suggest appropriate products or services, and coordinate introductions to internal partners.
- Deliver excellent client service, review moderately complex concerns, and raise any banking related issues or risks when necessary.
- Adhere to all relevant Retail/Wealth policies, procedures, FINRA and regulatory banking requirements.
- Engage clients about loan products; facilitate application intake and assist with loan closings.
- Maintain an active NMLS registration and implement TD’s Client Identification Program (CIP) along with due‑diligence and enhanced due‑diligence duties.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with partners in Wealth, Commercial, Small Business, Lending, and related specialties, supporting joint pipeline reviews and referral processes.
- Provide coaching and feedback to bank staff on effective client service and program promotion.
- Ensure compliance with TD Bank & TD Wealth policies and all regulatory requirements.
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years of financial or banking experience.
- Successful completion of the Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) strongly preferred.
- Life & Health license preferred.
- Experience with retail and small business banking and interaction with mass‑affluent and high net worth clients.
- Consultative sales experience required.
- Ability to maintain an active NMLS registration upon hire.
- Role classified as a Loan Originator under Regulation Z and the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (SAFE Act) requirements.
- Eligibility for employment with a covered financial institution as required by Regulation Z.
- Must pass a criminal background and credit report check; provide required certifications.
