CHILDREN'S OUTREACH COUNSELOR
$21.25 per hour
Mobile positions in the communities North of Boston.
The Edinburg Center is seeking a full-time Outreach Counselor for the Children’s Mental Health Services program providing services to youth under the age of 21 with mental health needs.
What You Will Do:
Work as part of a dynamic fun specialty team consisting of a Master’s level Mental Health Clinician, Occupational Therapist, Young Adult Peer Mentor (YAPM), and a Family Partner. Provide outreach and support to youth and families; engaging youth and families. Active participation in case management and documentation adhering to family voice and choice, and use a person-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach.
Who You Are:
An energetic passionate individual who wants to make a difference working with youth with the following requirements:
Or, a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of relevant experience working with youth. Oral and written fluency in a needed language preferred.
Additionally, the individual must be 21 years or older and maintain a flexible schedule including afternoon and evening availability. The individual must hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
