We are seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at PACE Pharmacy in PPH. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing excellent customer service to our patients. Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an approved pharmacy technician program or institutional/retail pharmacy experience.
  • Must currently be a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Massachusetts with an active pharmacy technician license without restrictions from the MA Board of Pharmacy.
  • Must not be listed on the Exclusion Database List of Excluded Individuals and Entities (LEIE) maintained by the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (OIG).
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organizational and leadership skills
  • Prior experience in a pharmacy


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in other languages
  • Prior experience in long-term care industry
Responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute pharmaceuticals accurately and on time.
  • Collects, inputs, and verifies prescription, refill, and patient information accurately.
  • Perform inventory control, compliance audits and maintains pharmacy records.
  • Communicate with prescribers, pharmacies, support staff and insurers as needed to manage refill orders and fill requests.
  • Field calls from individuals and pharmacies regarding medication refills.
