ShiftTuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays 11:00 AM–9:30 PM
Additional Compensation on Top Of Regular Hourly Pay$2.75 per hour for overnight shift hours between 10 PM and 6 AM; $1.75 per hour for evening shift hours between 6 PM and 10 PM; $1 per hour for weekend hours. Differentials can be combined.
What You Will Do- Accept calls, respond to dispatch and members with ETA to destination, locate members and greet them with empathy and professionalism.
- Assess the safety of the scene and ensure the vehicle is in a safe location before providing service.
- Provide minor mechanical assistance, diagnostic inquiries, battery boost, jump‑start, or tow when necessary, following safety procedures and AAA towing policy.
- Maintain vehicle and equipment in good working order, conduct safety checks, and keep inventory of tools and products.
- Follow all traffic and motor‑vehicle laws, uphold a professional image, and communicate using the vehicle MDC computer system.
- Collect revenue through cash and credit cards accurately and safeguard confidential information per club policies.
- Promote AAA products and services, educate members on battery replacement, and guide them to their destination (hotel, airline reservation, rental, etc.).
- Work independently with minimal face‑to‑face contact with the service team; adapt to a variety of shifts for 24/7 coverage.
- Prevent damage and injury by securing proper towing points and responding to changing vehicle dynamics.
- Work under pressure in busy traffic, adverse weather, and other challenging conditions.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum age 21.
- Post‑secondary training in automotive mechanics and familiarity with electrical troubleshooting.
- Active and valid driver’s license issued by a single state or jurisdiction.
- DOT card pre‑hire and current employee within one year.
- Satisfactorily pass a motor vehicle record check during pre‑hire screening and periodically during employment.
