Our client is looking for a CNC Lathe Set Up Technician. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of precision and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment that specializes in high‑precision lathe operations. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up CNC lathes, running parts post‑inspection and ensuring that machine configurations meet strict quality standards.
You’ll also interpret drawings, perform in‑process inspections, and optimize machining programs while contributing to the company’s reputation for manufacturing excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities- Set up CNC lathes for efficient production cycles
- Operate machines to produce high‑quality parts
- Perform inspection and maintain accurate documentation
- Touch off tools to establish machine coordinates and set up work‑holding devices
- Edit and verify G/M‑code programs or use CAM software for cycle optimization
- Use precision instruments to verify part dimensions and ensure specifications are met
Monday‑Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Required Skills, Education, and Experience- Experience with CNC Lathe setup and operation
- Strong understanding of machining drawings and GD&T standards
- Prior experience working with DMG Mori lathes is a plus
- Ability to interpret route sheets and perform in‑process inspections
- Skilled in tooling calibration and use of precision measurement instruments
