What You ll Do
  • Coordinates and conducts orientation, onboarding, and ongoing education for nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
  • Plans, delivers, and documents required in-service training to ensure compliance with state, federal, and CMS regulations
  • Assesses and validates clinical competencies, provides remediation as needed, and maintains accurate competency records
  • Supports regulatory compliance by preparing staff for surveys, assisting with plans of correction, and ensuring training documentation is survey-ready
  • Educates staff on facility policies, procedures, and evidence-based nursing practices to promote quality resident care
  • Collaborates with nursing leadership to identify performance gaps, improve clinical outcomes, and support quality improvement initiatives
What You ll Need
  • High school education
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Active, unencumbered Massachusetts RN licensure
  • Must hold a current CPR certification or be willing and able to obtain certification within a reasonable period following hire
  • Demonstrate physical ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, squat, and lift/carry up to 20 pounds unassisted or 50 pounds with assistance
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and following instructions in English
  • Must have experience working as a RN in long-term care
  • Experience with staff development, training and coaching preferred
