Our growing client is looking for a hands‑on Jr. Quality Engineer to support their manufacturing team. In this role, you will inspect incoming materials and components, perform quality checks during production and assembly, investigate issues, and help improve quality processes.
The Jr. Quality Engineer will inspect materials such as plastic and machined parts, bearings, fasteners, springs, and packaging components to ensure they meet specifications. They will perform measurements and tests using engineering drawings and technical documents, complete assembly checks to verify fit and function, and document any quality issues. The Engineer will work with global and domestic vendors to resolve non‑conformances and support supplier quality improvements.

Responsibilities- Perform incoming inspections of raw materials and components
- Conduct dimensional checks and functional assembly testing
- Identify, document, and communicate quality issues to suppliers
- Develop and maintain inspection procedures and quality documentation
- Support assembly‑line quality checks to prevent defects
- Investigate root causes of quality problems and implement corrective actions
- Maintain inspection records and generate reports using Microsoft Excel
- Support audits, calibration activities, and continuous improvement projects
- Experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T
- Solid experience using inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Knowledge of root‑cause analysis and basic SPC methods
- Experience creating SOPs and quality documentation
