Job Title:

TMC Americas Sales Manager

Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and coach the TMC Americas Sales Team to achieve orders and sales targets, develop new business and drive year‑over‑year growth.
  • Develop and manage key accounts, obtain single source and major market share positions, and drive year‑over‑year growth.
  • Report on customer voice to management, highlighting local market needs to grow TMC business.
  • Use CRM tools to manage an active opportunity pipeline with accurate, detailed information and weekly updates.
  • Provide weekly sales forecasts as required.
  • Provide weekly reports as required.
  • Present at customer meetings, trade shows, seminars, conferences, and internal meetings as needed.
  • Perform ongoing market research, pricing analysis, and competitive analysis.
  • Support pricing strategies and achieve business goals while managing customers’ expectations and relationships with minimal disruptions.
  • Ensure all agreements, contracts, orders, and related documents meet AMETEK compliance, regulatory, and policy requirements.
  • Collaborate with all AMETEK colleagues to win business for TMC.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in engineering or another technical degree.
  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in a technology‑oriented organization.
  • Experience with semiconductor, electron microscopy, life science, photonics, and vibration control.
  • Sales experience with capital equipment.
  • Proven record of growing business as a technical sales team leader.
  • Experience with market research, pricing, marketing communications, and competitive analysis.
  • Highly organized with effective time management, prioritization, and follow‑up skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • Strong ability to close new business.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Excellent presentation skills in English.
  • Position requires extensive travel in the Americas and occasional overseas travel.
