Retail Security Officer

As a Retail Security Officer at Securitas, you protect people, property, and merchandise in a dynamic store environment. Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances, sales floors, and high-value areas to deter theft and ensure a safe shopping environment
• Control access, verify receipts or bags as required, and observe CCTV systems for suspicious activity
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies, following Securitas and client protocols
• Engage with customers and staff in a professional, service-oriented manner while enforcing policies
• Document events, complete clear incident reports, and communicate with store management and law enforcement when needed
• Conduct regular patrols, safety checks, and loss-prevention focused observation throughout the retail location
