About the Role
As a Delivery Driver for Omnicare Pharmacy, you deliver prescription orders and/or products to customers on a predetermined route and schedule in a company‑provided vehicle. You ensure medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for patients while maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical conduct.

- Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical conduct.
- Use a customer service mindset to manage pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team’s ability to fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately.
- Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products, and supplies to long‑term care facilities or patient homes.
- Load products and materials.
- Maintain the vehicle and alert management for any maintenance issues.
- Maintain full compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA, to ensure patient confidentiality.
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Geographical knowledge of the service area.
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
- Current, valid driver’s license at the level required for the vehicle’s operation.
- Ability to drive for long periods of time.
- Customer service orientation.
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver.
- Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently during the day.
- Ability to sit or stand for seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day.
- Ability to lift up to twenty‑five (25) pounds.
- Finger dexterity to operate office equipment.
- Visual acuity to see and read fine prints (close vision, color vision, ability to adjust focus).
- Ability to hear normal voice sounds.
- May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.
High School Diploma or GED.
Pay & BenefitsAnticipated weekly hours: 35 (full‑time).
Pay range: $16.00 – $28.84 per hour.
