About the Role

As a Delivery Driver for Omnicare Pharmacy, you deliver prescription orders and/or products to customers on a predetermined route and schedule in a company‑provided vehicle. You ensure medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for patients while maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical conduct.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver prescription orders and/or products on a predetermined route and schedule in a company‑provided vehicle.
  • Ensure medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for patients.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical conduct.
  • Use a customer service mindset to manage pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team’s ability to fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately.
  • Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products, and supplies to long‑term care facilities or patient homes.
  • Load products and materials.
  • Maintain the vehicle and alert management for any maintenance issues.
  • Maintain full compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA, to ensure patient confidentiality.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED (required).
  • Geographical knowledge of the service area.
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
  • Current, valid driver’s license at the level required for the vehicle’s operation.
  • Ability to drive for long periods of time.
  • Customer service orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Delivery Driver.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently during the day.
  • Ability to sit or stand for seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day.
  • Ability to lift up to twenty‑five (25) pounds.
  • Finger dexterity to operate office equipment.
  • Visual acuity to see and read fine prints (close vision, color vision, ability to adjust focus).
  • Ability to hear normal voice sounds.
  • May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.
Education

High School Diploma or GED.

Pay & Benefits

Anticipated weekly hours: 35 (full‑time).

Pay range: $16.00 – $28.84 per hour.
