Senior Forest Operations Coordinator ATCO

This senior role involves overseeing annual vegetation management tasks and reviewing contractor work for adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards. You will conduct vegetation patrols across Transmission and Distribution rights-of-way, and provide expert recommendations on vegetation control. Collaboration with regional supervisors is key to achieving operational success in the sustainable management of forest resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support implementation of vegetation management plans

• Assess contractor HSE documents for compliance

• Prepare cost estimates for vegetation control work

• Monitor contractor safety and environmental performance

• Conduct vegetation patrols and document conditions

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in Forestry or related field

• Minimum 2 years of related experience

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Experience with GIS systems is an asset

• Valid vehicle operator license (Class
5)
