Payroll Tax Specialist

Vaco Atlanta is working with an impressive client in Peachtree Corners who is seeking a Payroll Tax Specialist
. This is a PERMANENT position. Since in-office work is required on a hybrid schedule,
all candidates to be considered must live in the Atlanta, GA metropolitan area.

• Address and resolve payroll tax notices promptly
• Work closely with state tax agencies
• Support Payroll with all employment tax research, employee tax inquiries, and required adjustments
• Audit & reconcile payroll tax data
• Prepare and file quarterly & annual taxes
• File amended returns

• At least 1 years of multi-state Payroll Tax experience is REQUIRED
• ADP Smart Compliance experience preferred
• Strong Excel skills to include V-lookups, X-lookups, and Pivot tables (there will be an assessment of these skills)
• Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Efficient organizational skills with great attention to detail.
