DescriptionThe Clemson University College of Education seeks highly qualified candidates to fill course instruction needs in the Department of Educational and Organizational Leadership Development (EOLD). This part‑time opportunity to teach one or more courses is available on an as‑needed basis. Courses may be offered in spring, summer, and/or fall terms and be offered in one or more modalities ranging from in‑person to asynchronous online.
The start date varies according to departmental teaching needs. The areas of content expertise required by the department align with program areas, which include athletic leadership (MS and undergraduate minor); educational leadership in PK‑12 (MEd, EdS, and PhD) and higher education settings (PhD); improvement science (EdD); human capital education development (BS); human resource development (MHRD); student affairs (MEd); and dissertation writing and support.
A limited number of full‑time visiting positions may be available in some program areas.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in a related field;
Doctoral (or terminal degree) in a related field (required to teach in graduate‑level programs);
Expertise in content aligned with a departmental program area; A commitment to inclusive teaching, creating an inclusive learning and working environment, and working alongside persons with diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous higher education teaching experience;
Experience teaching with modality in which course is offered;
Practical experience in an applied field aligned with a departmental program area.
