About The Position
We are currently seeking a Corrosion Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as a technical lead across a range of multidisciplinary projects, providing advanced corrosion control expertise while mentoring junior staff. You will regularly interface with clients, support proposal development, and help drive project execution from planning through completion. The ideal candidate brings strong field experience, technical leadership capability, and the ability to manage projects while maintaining high-quality deliverables and client relationships.
EssentialJob Functions
- Lead and oversee Cathodic Protection (CP) annual surveys
- Troubleshoot rectifier systems and complex CP system issues
- Direct pipeline locating and integrity verification activities
- Lead Close Interval Surveys (CIS)
- Perform and interpret DCVG surveys
- Oversee bellhole inspections and coating evaluations
- Design, install, or oversee installation of Cathodic Protection systems
- Conduct and interpret soil resistivity surveys
- Perform and analyze Pipeline Current Mapping (PCM)
- Lead AC mitigation surveys and oversee mitigation system installations
- Review field data and prepare detailed technical reports
- Mentor junior engineers and field technicians
- BS in Engineering required
- NACE/AMPP Cathodic Protection certification (CP2 or higher preferred)
- 5+ years of corrosion engineering and field experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage client relationships
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
- Self‑motivated with a strong commitment to delivering high‑quality work
- Desire and ability to continue growing professionally and expanding technical expertise
