JOB

SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic entry‑level Structural Engineer in Training I to join our dynamic team. This role is designed for recent graduates who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in real‑world projects. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of experienced engineers and project managers to assist in the planning, design, and implementation of various civil engineering projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in preparing plans and specifications for structural projects across various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Practical application of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the structural engineering field including engineering formulas and skills.
  • Conduct thorough research, and write detailed reports/opinions, including due diligence investigations and code studies.
  • Utilize various engineering related computer software.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Experience: 0-1 year experience in civil engineering or related field (internships/co-ops included).

Licensure: EIT (Engineer in Training) certification or ability to obtain it within the first year of employment

SKILLS:
  • Basic knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and methods.
  • Basic knowledge of engineering software.
  • Ability to manage important resources such as time and materials.
  • Ability to analyze project needs and requirements to create a design.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
