Job DescriptionClient is currently in search of a Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master Contractor to join our Kawneer business in Norcross, GA. This contract position requires being in the office 4 days a week. This Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing the implementation of a new Config, Price & Quote system (Symetri Ruler product and framework) to streamline the generation process, ensure pricing accuracy and enhance the overall customer experience.
The project will enable Kawneer Direct to offer more products for online selling.
- Under direction of IT PMO/Program Manager, responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle and serving as the single point of contact for this project.
- Manage the delivery of this large and complex multi-disciplinary project within a predetermined budget, scope, and schedule while maintaining high quality standards.
- Take the project from original concept through final implementation to achieve desired business results.
- Manage multiple work streams within the CPQ Project framework and ensure project details are defined and deliverables met.
- Plan and deliver incremental software in a Scrum environment, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Facilitate team meetings and coach the Agile process, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Identify areas to improve delivery speed, velocity, and user experience.
- Conduct ongoing IT audit tests as part of the organization’s risk management protocols.
- Define and implement key metrics to keep all phases and tracks on schedule and within budget.
- Track project cost to plan and provide cost reporting to senior management.
- Mitigate potential risks, troubleshoot issues, and report progress, KPIs, and status to senior management.
- Self‑organize work, prioritize multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
- Excellent leadership, motivational, time management, organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
- Quick learner adaptable to innovative technologies and applications.
- Strong knowledge of PMO tools and methodologies.
- Experience managing projects with waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Experience managing large scale complex projects.
- Resolve technical and operational issues.
- Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 12‑15 years of project management experience.
- Knowledge of standard PM tools (MS Project Professional, SharePoint, Visio, MS Office Suite).
- Working knowledge of JIRA.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize, communicate, present, and influence at all levels.
- Experience with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) implementation or development.
- Agile certifications: CSM, CSP, PMP or Lean Six Sigma.
- Business and systems acumen of the Building and Construction industry.
