Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join a dynamic, fast-paced environment where initiative and problem-solving are critical. This role is ideal for someone who has worked in smaller or less siloed organizations and is comfortable taking ownership, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving solutions end-to-end.

• Design, implement, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure
• Lead hands‑on work with switching and routing technologies
  , including deployment and integration
• Manage and support Cisco and Meraki environments (switches, routers, access points)
• Work extensively with Cisco Nexus platforms in production environments
• Configure and troubleshoot BGP routing across network environments
• Implement and support Layer 2 networking
  , including VLANs and Spanning Tree
• Collaborate closely with systems and infrastructure teams to support hybrid environments
• Support and maintain networking within VMware virtualized environments
  , including:
• Distributed switches
• Port groups
• VM networking configurations
• Assist with troubleshooting performance, connectivity, and infrastructure issues across on‑prem and cloud
• Contribute to documentation, process improvements, and overall network reliability

• 7+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role
• Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco networking technologies
  , including Nexus
• Proven experience with:
• Routing & switching (implementation, configuration, troubleshooting)
• BGP (required)
• Layer 2 technologies
  , VLANs, and Spanning Tree
• Experience working in lean or small‑team environments where engineers wear multiple hats
• Solid understanding of VMware networking
  , including distributed virtual switches and port groups
• Experience collaborating with systems/infrastructure teams
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently

• Experience with network design and architecture
• Background working in an MSP, ISP, or service provider environment
• Broader cloud networking knowledge (Azure preferred)

• A self‑starter who can “take the ball and run with it”
• Someone comfortable being the go‑to person for network challenges
• Strong communicator who can work cross‑functionally with systems and cloud teams
• Hands‑on engineer who thrives in less structured, fast‑moving environments
