The Manager, Residential Sales & Operations Planning reports to the Head of Sales & Operational Planning.
Interacts With: Marketing, Product Management, Financial Controllers, Research & Development, Information Technology, Customer Support, Sales, Plant Materials Management, Purchasing as well as general management.

- This position is responsible for leading the Residential segment demand, supply, and inventory planning processes to support business growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. The role leads a team of three planners responsible for developing monthly demand and supply forecasts across internal manufacturing plants and third-party suppliers, managing approximately 30,000 finished goods SKUs and coordinating forecasts with 12 suppliers.
- The S&OP Manager develops and maintains forecasts by leveraging historical demand data, market intelligence, business strategies, and commercial insights to improve forecast accuracy and support decision-making. The role facilitates monthly demand planning reviews with Product Management and Marketing teams to capture market trends and refine forecasts, as well as monthly supply planning meetings with manufacturing plants and suppliers to communicate forecast requirements and align production capabilities.
- The position is accountable for driving lead-time management processes and maintaining a deep understanding of manufacturing constraints and planning parameters to ensure accurate order confirmations, set realistic customer expectations, and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction. In addition, the team manages inventory planning and stocking strategies for the business unit, with a focus on optimizing inventory levels, inventory quality, and working capital while maintaining healthy inventory performance across two distribution centers.
- As a key contributor to the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process, the S&OP Manager develops logistics and inventory strategies to support new product introductions, transitions, and product obsolescence. The role also leads projects aimed at improving delivery performance, enhancing customer service, reducing manual processes, and increasing automation across planning and logistics functions.
- This position serves as a subject matter expert in logistics, MRP, demand planning, and inventory replenishment strategies, providing coaching and knowledge development throughout the organization. The role continuously evaluates and improves processes to increase efficiency, optimize business performance, and deliver measurable results.
- Additionally, the S&OP Manager champions digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives, implementing advanced planning tools, digital solutions, and lean methodologies across the department and manufacturing network to drive productivity and operational excellence.
- Success in this role requires a highly strategic and analytical mindset, strong business acumen, and the ability to proactively identify risks, constraints, and opportunities. The ideal candidate is a decisive leader who performs well under pressure, develops high-performing teams, fosters employee engagement, and challenges the status quo to drive continuous improvement and business growth.
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineer, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
- 5+ years’ experience in materials/logistics/planning preferably in a manufacturing organization
- Supervisory experience.
- Thorough understanding of manufacturing supply chains and supply chain strategy from raw material to delivery of finished goods
- Expert user of ERP systems.
- Expert user of Demand Planning Systems.
- Expert Excel user. Demonstrated ability to write queries and extract data from ERP and Demand Planning systems and perform highly complex analysis.
