Flexographic Press Operator
2nd Shift: 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM. No Weekend Work. Training on 1st shift before moving to 2nd.
Job Summary:
We're hiring an experienced Flexographic Press Operator to run a Mark Andy press on 2nd shift. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, understands color and quality, and wants steady weekday hours with no weekends.
- Set up, operate, and maintain a multi-color Mark Andy flexographic press
- Print on flexible paper, pressure-sensitive paper, films, and unsupported substrates
- Work with UV and water-based inks
- Mount plates, pull raw materials, and follow job tickets and specifications
- Monitor print quality and make adjustments to maintain color and consistency
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on the press
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
- Troubleshoot press issues and help train or support others as needed
- Experience operating a Mark Andy flexographic press (or similar flexo equipment)
- Strong color matching skills
- Experience printing on multiple substrates
- Ability to read job tickets, measurements, and rulers
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Self-motivated and able to manage productivity and quality with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, safety-focused, and dependable
- Training: 1st shift
- Regular Shift: 2nd shift | 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM
- Monday-Friday
