This position is a hands-on role that manages our apparel and distribution departments for a continuously growing 35 year old company.

Overseeing daily production operations (Embroidery, DTF, Screen Printing, and Fulfillment). This includes, but is not limited to, managing staff, optimizing schedules, maintaining inventory, and ensuring quality control to meet project deadlines and outstanding service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management:
    Hire, train, and monitor production to ensure productivity is fully optimized.
  • Production Planning and Scheduling:
    Develop and manage production schedules, ensuring timely completion of all print jobs while adhering to budgets.
  • Quality Control:
    Implement and monitor quality standards, inspect final products for accuracy, and provide feedback to the team.
  • Inventory Management:
    Oversee inventory of inks, screens, and other materials, managing reorders and ensuring supplies are always available.
  • Pre-Production and Technical Oversight:
    Manage pre-press activities, file preparation, and proofing; ensure artwork is correct before setting up and producing all jobs.
  • Equipment and Maintenance:
    Ensure equipment is maintained properly, including preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise, and keep the print area clean and safe.
  • Process Improvement:
    Identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvement, and overall production efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of screen printing, embroidery, DTF, and fulfillment operations, including processes, inks, and materials.
  • Leadership and Teamwork:
    Ability to lead, guide, coach up a team, and provide hands-on leadership (player/coach), while fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Attention to Detail:
    Essential for ensuring accuracy in color, text, graphics, and overall product quality.
  • Project Management:
    Skill in developing timelines, monitoring progress, and coordinating multiple aspects of a project. Must be able to manage competing priorities. Ability to be an exceptional multi-tasker is a requirement of this position.

    Skills:

    Ability to manage schedules, inventory, and production records efficiently.
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal, is necessary for team and client interactions.
  • Problem-Solving:
    Ability to troubleshoot and find solutions to various printing issues.
