Maintenance & Safety Technician

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance & Safety Technician to support production equipment maintenance and workplace safety initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

Peachtree Corners, GA

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Competitive pay based on experience

Key Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain woodworking and production equipment, including saws, CNC machines, conveyors, air compressors, dust collection systems, and pneumatic tools.

+ Perform preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and facility repairs.

+ Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.

+ Maintain maintenance records and repair documentation.

+ Conduct safety inspections and support OSHA compliance, Lockout/Tagout, machine guarding, PPE, and workplace safety initiatives.

+ Assist with safety training, incident investigations, and corrective actions.

Qualifications

+ Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

+ Experience repairing woodworking and production equipment.

+ Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic hydraulic systems.

+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

+

Experience with preventive maintenance programs and documentation.

+ Knowledge of OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety practices.

+ Organized, dependable, and able to balance maintenance and safety responsibilities.

+ Comfortable working on the production floor in a fast-paced environment.
