Security Officers, sometimes referred to as Security Guards, deter criminal activity, protect property and enforce rules on a property. Some monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position, while others patrol areas and conduct security checks. In factories and offices, Security Officers provide protection for equipment and workers along with checking the credentials of vehicles and individuals coming and going from the premises.

- Rover:
Foot or vehicle patrols, responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, theft and other criminal activity. - Gatehouse:
Greet residents and guests with a friendly demeanor, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors and control access to all persons on the property. - Front Desk:
Acknowledge and greet all guests with courtesy and urgency, provide customer service and access control, monitor CCTV camera systems, announce visitors and distribute packages.
• Detect and deter suspicious or criminal activity;
• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle;
• Monitor surveillance equipment and alarm systems;
• Enforce property rules and company policies;
• Control access to premises and verify credentials of vehicles and individuals;
• Respond to incidents and provide accurate incident reports;
• Coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary.
- At least 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid state licensing, if applicable
- Valid Driver’s License
- Valid CPR is preferred
- Computer skills a plus
- Familiarity with report writing
- Monitoring and surveillance experience
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
- Previous security experience is not required, but is a PLUS!
