Lead Mitigation Technician​/Crew Chief

Property Medics of Georgia is a residential construction company focused on insurance‑related reconstruction.

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Lead Mitigation Technician. The role involves working under harsh conditions—smoke, water, mold, sewage—to help people recover from disaster damage. This is a long‑term opportunity in a fast‑paced and growing company.

• Oversee mitigation team duties to ensure each job runs smoothly and efficiently:
• Water damage extraction, drying, minor demolition & pack‑out
• Mold remediation
• Fire damage board‑up, structure stabilization, smoke cleaning & pack‑out
• Trash removal
• Restoration—contents manipulation, cleaning, small punch‑out tasks
• Take moisture readings to ensure accurate completion
• Ensure proper paperwork and photos are completed
• Manage material supply and delivery
• Participate in on‑call rotation for new emergency calls
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma (or equivalent); higher education preferred
• At least 2 years of water mitigation experience; prior disaster‑restoration experience preferred
• Water mitigation certification (WRT and/or ASD) preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean MVR
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
• Standard schedule of 40+ hours per week, with possible overtime
• 24/7 on‑call requirement every other week—please do not apply if you cannot meet this
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently
• Team player who works well with others
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to lift a minimum 70 lbs without assistance
