This Opportunity

The Field Service Technician II will provide technical and logistical support for customers for Komline-Sanderson supplied systems and equipment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform commissioning tasks such as mechanical and electrical checks, equipment verification, and proper installation ready for operation
- Record appropriate initial operations data while performing equipment optimization and tests
- Supervise and coordinate start-up efforts from product lines and outside vendors to ensure system compliance within the scope of the customer's performance criteria
- Coordinate contractors and other onsite personnel to oversee activities and inspect work-in-progress
- Implement operational requirements to ensure success during equipment trials and review specifications with the customer to ensure equipment compliance
- Produce accurate progress reports and site reviews for the Project Manager and Customer Representative, developing and maintaining punch lists to track outstanding items and deficiencies for project completion
- Associate's degree, trade school, or military training
- 5+ years of field service experience
- Possess knowledge of process equipment control panels, motor starters, AC/DC drives, and instrumentation
- Experience with programmable controllers and operator interface terminals
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with programmable controllers and operator interface terminals
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working with mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, and operation and maintenance manuals
- Experience working with mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, and operation and maintenance manuals
- Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Suite
- Collaborate with others and working in a team environment
- Travel up to 70% to customer sites
- Available to train 3-6 months at our facility in Peapack, New Jersey
