Audit & Accounting Associate

Audit and Accounting Associate audit, review or compile financial data, assess internal controls, prepares reports, assist clients with regulatory compliance, and strive to be a proficient Audit Associate. Associates are supervised by senior associates and managers.

• Compile, review, and audit financial statements and supplemental information in accordance with professional standards
• Understand client’s business and internal controls
• Manage client information requests and deliverables
• Review and analyze financial data
• Prepare and organize work papers to reconcile account balances and support financial statements
• Prepare financial statements including disclosures in accordance with GAAP, OCBOA, and IFRS
• Collaborate with engagement team and clients
• Demonstrate proficiency with professional standards and financial reporting frameworks, including industry trends by participating in educational opportunities, participating in professional organizations, and reading professional publications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• CPA license or on track for CPA certificate and license
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Self-starter with a strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work well within teams as well as individually
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook; knowledge of Pro System fx Engagement, Quick Books and
