Grade 6 Teacher

CCCS is seeking a 6th grade teacher to ensure that our students are given the best opportunities to develop strong intellectual and moral character and a Christian perspective on the total worldview by providing a Christ-centered, spiritual, and academic environment that seeks the richest fulfillment of potential for each student

• Must be a born again Christian and regularly attend a Bible teaching church
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Agree and support the doctrine of Calvary Chapel of Honolulu
• Agree and uphold the mission and Philosophy of Christian Education of CCCS
• Participate in staff meetings, school and church events, after-school program
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction that meets the diverse needs of learners
• Communicate clearly course objectives, grading procedures, expectations, and the classroom procedures to students and families
• Maintain confidentiality and model Christ-likeness in communication, fairness, attendance, language, and appearance
• Demonstrate mutual respect for students, families, and colleagues, and serve as a Christ-like role model
• Create and maintain a safe, orderly, and Christ-centered classroom that builds students' confidence to learn
• Support school-wide activities, procedures, and expectations
