(Role: Professional) This posting seeks to fill at either the Performance Engineer or Sr Performance Engineer level; whichever level is most suited to the qualifications of the applying candidate.
PERFORMANCE ENGINEER JOB FUNCTION:
- Responsible for monitoring and diagnosing equipment performance issues using technical specifications, instrumentation data, and advanced analytics software.
- Responsible for providing advanced condition monitoring and data analysis of critical plant systems and components.
- Interfaces and collaborates with key stakeholders to diagnose developing plant and equipment related problems.
- Provides technical consulting services to the stations for enhancing equipment performance and reliability; troubleshooting and resolving operational problems; and optimizing maintenance and operational practices.

SR PERFORMANCE ENGINEER JOB FUNCTION:
- Provides expert level field engineering and technical consultative services to the generating stations.
- Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves operational problems, optimizing maintenance and operational practices to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and lifecycle.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
- Responsible for the training and coaching of Performance Engineers.
