Purpose and Impact
This position is contingent upon award of contract, business needs, security clearance verification, and funding availability. We are seeking a Senior‑Level Knowledge Manager to support various locations. The ideal candidate will align people, processes, and technology to facilitate information sharing by analysts and organizations, leveraging existing digital production and dissemination standard‑based technologies and platforms. The knowledge manager will utilize centralized and peripheral databases, as well as content and records management systems, to shape workflow and business processes.
Reports will be compiled on performance and usage metrics along with future requirements for capabilities, which include, but are not limited to, search, discovery, storage, and retrieval of data, intelligence products, and taskings. Support will also be provided for cross‑domain dissemination of intelligence products across separate networks and portals.
Standard 40‑hour work week between 0600 and 1800, Monday through Friday. Ability to work shift work if necessary.
Essential Responsibilities- Perform technical editor, cross‑domain dissemination, and information management functions, including:
- Posting, editing, distributing, and maintaining appropriate content on classified and unclassified website/portals.
- Organizing data, establishing file structures, and ensuring information is captured and stored in locations accessible to authorized users.
- Ensuring proper security protocols are used to protect classified, proprietary, and personally‑identifiable information.
- Use various Government‑furnished systems and programs such as Microsoft (MS) SharePoint to search, discover, store, and retrieve data.
- Use Government‑furnished tools to build, update, and maintain databases which could be used to produce standalone products and/or support all source analytic production.
- Develop metrics from designated databases or data sets and prepare reports and presentations with the metrics.
- Demonstrates comprehensive mission knowledge and skills that affirms completion of all developmental training and experiences for the labor category.
- Communicates understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and/or technically advanced.
- Works independently with minimal oversight and direction.
- Collaborates and works with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution.
- Develops concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence.
- Leads teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems.
- TS/SCI. Ability to take a polygraph if requested.
- Required experience:
At least 12 years of experience relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
