CACI is seeking a Computer Network Architect in support of a program whose initiative is aimed at combating evolving and emerging threats, supporting related exploitation and replication activities, and advancing operational rehearsal, exercise, wargaming, and counter system development. Additionally, we are focusing on integration and experimentation, including Modeling and Simulation.

Responsibilities- Network Design and Architecture:
Design and implement network architectures that meet the organization's needs. - Create detailed network diagrams and documentation.
- Requirement Analysis:
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for network infrastructure. - Conduct network assessments to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Technology Selection and Implementation:
Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, protocols, and standards. - Implement and configure network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Network Security:
Design and implement network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats. - Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents using security solutions.
- Performance Optimization:
Monitor network performance and identify bottlenecks or issues. - Implement solutions to optimize network performance and ensure reliable connectivity.
- Collaboration and Support:
Work with IT staff, management, and other stakeholders to ensure network solutions align with business goals. - Provide guidance and support to other IT professionals on network-related issues.
- Documentation and Maintenance:
Keep detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and maintenance activities. - Update network diagrams and documentation as the network evolves.
- Scalability Planning:
Design networks that can scale to accommodate future growth and changing business needs. - Implement strategies for network expansion and modernization.
- Testing and Validation:
Perform testing and validation of network configurations and changes. - Ensure that network solutions meet performance, security, and reliability standards.
- Continuous Learning:
Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in network architecture. Continuously improve skills and knowledge in network design and implementation.
- Associate of Arts (AA) degree or 2-year technical school.
- 3 years of relevant experience may be substituted for education.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor. Minimum required hourly wage: $20.35. Additional benefits include comprehensive healthcare, wellness, financial, retirement, family support, continuing education, and paid time off.
