SOSi is on the hunt for a forward‑thinking Systems Engineer to help shape the future of Command and Control (C2) IT solutions at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam. You’ll be part of a high‑impact team supporting over 5,000 users across the Pacific theater, solving complex technical challenges that drive mission‑critical operations.

In this role, you’ll lead the charge in developing and maintaining a robust enterprise infrastructure and private cloud platform. You’ll collaborate with senior DoD personnel, deliver executive‑level briefings, and ensure compliance with Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and Data‑Centric Security Principles.

• Assess, design, and roadmap development for the implementation or integration of ZTA solutions.
• Assess, design, and roadmap development for the implementation or integration of Data‑Centric Security solutions.
• Contribute, provide technical recommendations, and attend briefings or information sharing forums with our customer and leadership, supporting ZTA initiatives and new capabilities.
• Interact with vendors, other agencies, and coalition partners on behalf of the program.
• Lead complex technical projects—including upgrades, system integrations, and other installations—to support existing enterprise capabilities.
• Provide mentorship for Systems Operations personnel in administration principles and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant hardware and software applications as assigned.
• Review work efforts/implementations, contribute to analysis, and produce After‑Action Reports (AAR). Regularly collect and summarize pertinent network‑related accomplishments, issues, and concerns. Complete activity reports in accordance with contract requirements.
• Ensure compliance of custody and ownership of Government equipment and related components.
• Participate in related solution technologies and special projects, as required.
• Interface with team leads and members to collect, develop, document, and submit status updates via a Weekly Activity Report (WAR).

• Active in‑scope TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility and U.S. passport.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, or a similar field and 5+ years of experience, or 9+ years of experience in enterprise IT systems engineering and operations involving complex classified DoD environments and mandatory security controls (e.g., STIGs).
• 5+ years of implementation and support in server administration, extensive experience with Microsoft or Linux enterprise services portfolio (Exchange, Active Directory, DNS/BIND, DHCP, SQL, etc.).
• DoD 8570 IAT‑II compliant (Security+, CCNA, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP).
• Server Administration (Microsoft or Linux+) certification at hire.
• Obtain Microsoft Certified:
  Windows Server Hybrid Administrator or Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) within 6 months.
• Prior experience in implementing and supporting DoD secure systems environments.
• Experience with Hyperconverged Infrastructure (Nutanix preferred).
• Experience with NSA CSfC requirements, including Multi‑Site Connectivity Capability Package (MSCCP) and Mobile Access Capability Package (MACP).
• Experience with Cross‑Domain Solutions (CDS) and/or DISA Trusted Network Environment (TNE).
• Customer‑service oriented with a willingness to participate and assist.
• Can follow instructions and work both independently and in a distributed team environment.
• Team‑player; can communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Attention to detail; excellent planning and time‑management skills.
• Able to support 24/7 operations, including support to exercises, when necessary.

• Microsoft Certified:
  Windows Server Hybrid Administrator or Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) certification.
