Description
SAIC is seeking a C4I Simulation Integrator in Pearl City, Hawaii to support USPACOM to assist in designing, testing, and operating advanced computer simulations and communication systems to prepare military forces for joint training exercises, as well as creating realistic training environments, troubleshooting issues, and ensure all systems and equipment are ready for successful execution during events. Additionally, you’ll prepare technical plans, documentation, and training materials to enhance warfighter readiness and support future mission capabilities.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Coordinate with technical planners and engineers to design simulation and Common Operational Picture (COP) technical architectures and solutions to include cross-domain solutions (CDS).
- Operate computer models (or simulation) and C4I software and systems.
- Test and validate simulation solutions during the design and planning stages to ensure the solution works during technical tests (EFT, EOT) and during ECG Training and CPX/FTX execution.
- Coordinate with team to perform system tests, generate equipment plans, and packaging equipment for deployment to other countries.
- Builds set up and execution plans, SOPs, presentations, diagrams, technical documentation, floor plans, and training materials to ensure success at exercises
- Sets up and provides required database, terrain, maps, and other products for event execution.
- Identify, establish, and maintain or replicate the datalink architecture and network design parameters required to connect the various exercise elements within the PACOM Joint Exercise Program (JEP) environment.
- Contribute to the production of accurate simulation models and architectures related to C4I software and systems leveraged in JEP Exercises.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors Degree and five (5)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
- Model Interoperability (DIS, HLA, TENA).
- Experience with map and terrain data.
- Experience with C4I systems regarding administration, integration, interoperability, and architecture using OTH-G, Link 16, JREAP-C, etc.
- Experience configuring and deploying networked application.
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Must be familiar with Link 16 planning in accredited planning systems for operational level war fighting exercises.
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
- Must have a current active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a full TS/SCI clearance.
- Must be a current US Citizen.
