Supervisory Distribution Facilities Specialist

Duties

Responsible for ensuring mission requirements associated with physical distribution, stock readiness, item data operations.

Responsible for inventory accountability/accuracy, suspended materials, discrepancy reports, and customer support are completed effectively and efficiently.

Analyzes the efficiency of receiving, storage, shipping, and packing procedures and system programming on customer support.

Determines actions required for implementation and coordinates with functional personnel. Participates in problem-solving meetings and conferences.

Performs workload analysis, working directly with depot and management personnel in development of plans concerning workload processing.

Analyzes daily workload data and determines capabilities of labor and resources for operations support personnel. May perform physical counts of material in warehouse locations.

Performs independent analysis, at times resolving difficult issues and problems across all physical distribution functions performed at the depot. Evaluates, interprets, and monitors implementation of policy, systems, and procedural changes.
