University Security Officer I (Multiple Vacancies)

Pearl City, Waimanalo, Wahiawa, Oahu, Hawaii
Job Type: Full time permanent
Salary: $4,054.00 per month
Shiftwork:
Applicants must be willing to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Patrol campus and assigned areas to enforce laws, rules, and regulations for protection of personnel and property.
- Enforce laws, rules, and regulations to prevent violations.
- Conduct investigations of violations, prepare reports, and take appropriate action.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Specialized experience:
One (1) year of progressively responsible work experience in the enforcement of security laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to the protection of personnel and property. - Guard license:
Current, valid State of Hawaii Security Guard License (at the time of appointment). - Driver's license:
Valid driver's license (at the time of appointment). - Substitutions:
Relevant substitutions as described in the Minimum Qualification Requirements will apply. - Certification:
First Aid and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificates or equivalent within six (6) months of employment. - Suitability investigations:
Department of Human Resources Development will conduct a thorough investigation before hiring.
