Securitas Technology is seeking an Alarm Monitoring Operator I to protect commercial and enterprise clients through real-time monitoring of electronic security and life safety systems. In this role, you will observe alarms from intrusion, fire, video, and access control platforms, quickly assess events, and initiate appropriate responses, including contacting clients, dispatching emergency services, or coordinating service technicians. You will document all activity accurately, follow detailed procedures, and collaborate with a team focused on safety, integrity, and customer service.

Responsibilities
- Monitor electronic security, fire, and life safety systems for commercial and enterprise clients
- Assess alarm signals, verify events, and determine appropriate response actions
- Dispatch emergency services, client contacts, or service technicians per protocols
- Use CCTV and access control tools to verify incidents and support decision-making
- Accurately document all events, actions, and communications in monitoring systems
- Follow standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements for alarm handling
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, responders, and internal teams
- Escalate critical or unusual events to supervisors and specialized response teams
- Maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced, 24/7 monitoring environment
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current on systems, technologies, and procedures
