Environmental Driver Specialist CDLA Veolia

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned locations to pack, transport, and properly dispose of waste material in compliance with environmental policies.
• Work rotations on neighbor islands, including 3–5 overnight stays per rotation cycle and occasional weekend work.
• Perform tasks for 8–12 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with mandatory overtime of 5 hours per week.

Starting hourly rate of $30.00.

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM until completion of daily duties (typically 8–12 hours).

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum age of 21 years.

• TWIC Card.
• Experience with vacuum trucks, combo vehicles, and roll‑off trucks.
• Fluency in English, verbal and written.

Failure to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check will result in ineligibility for the position.
