Accountant I / County Funds Accountant I – Forrest Co / Hattiesburg, MS.
Duties and Responsibilities- Process utility bills: review for accuracy, contact vendor if necessary, process in MAGIC, and submit for approval.
- Process postage bills: review for accuracy, contact vendor if necessary, process in MAGIC, and submit for approval.
- Process publications: review for accuracy, contact vendor if necessary, process in MAGIC, and submit for approval.
- Process conference materials: review for accuracy, contact employee/vendor if necessary, process in MAGIC, and submit for approval.
- Contact vendor or person for clarification if necessary.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 2-4 years of experience and/or appropriate certification.
