Bookkeeper Costing Accountant

Job Description What You'll Do

• - Own day-to-day bookkeeping in Quick Books:
• A/P, A/R, deposits, bank & credit card
• reconciliations.
• - Build and maintain job costing for every iron
• door, glass room, and install — materials, labor,
• powder coat, freight, subs.
• - Track WIP, deposits collected, and progress
• billings against each open job.
• - Reconcile vendor bills to POs and shop receiving;
• catch pricing errors before they cost us margin.
• - Run weekly cash flow, A/R aging, and job-margin
• reports for the owner.
• - Handle sales tax filings and 1099s; coordinate
• with our outside CPA at year-end.
• - Help tighten our chart of accounts and
• month-end close so we know where we stand by
• the 10th.

• - 3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience
• (manufacturing, construction, or contractor a big
• plus).
• - Strong Quick Books skills (Desktop or Online);
• comfortable in Excel — pivot tables,
• VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• - Hands-on experience with job costing or project
• accounting.
• - Detail-obsessed, organized, and able to reconcile
• to the penny.
• - Clear communicator who can push back on
• missing paperwork from the shop floor.
• - Associate's or Bachelor's in Accounting
• preferred; equivalent experience considered.
