Position: TEACHER - ACADEMIC

Responsibilities

Math Teacher – full‑time, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, salaried.
Implement a full educational teaching plan according to the school’s requirements.
Provide individualized instruction using Edgenuity Courseware and MyPath.
Maintain a calm demeanor during tense situations.
Plan and execute educational in‑class and outdoor activities.
Provide targeted interventions designed by Edgenuity.
Write Individualized Education Plans and Service Plans.
Document student behavior on Q‑15 sheets.
Maintain a safe learning environment.
Perform other duties as assigned or required by the position.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required, master’s preferred from an accredited four‑year college or university in the subject area to be taught. Must possess a valid MS “A” teaching certificate in the subject area to be taught as required by the Department of Education and agree to obtain EmD certification within one year of hire.

Current Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification and current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
