This position is located at the State Veterans Home at Collins, MS. Second-level Nurse Manager accountable for directing nursing services and oversight and review of work and documentation of subordinate and specialist personnel. Accountable for directing subordinates in coordinating care for patients and administering nursing programs. Directs nursing services and oversees other health services in a public health program. Is a highly functional member of a multidisciplinary team providing direct care in a patient care setting or directs nursing and health services in a public health program.
What you'll need to be Successful
Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail. Ability to work as part of a cohesive team.
Preferred Qualifications
Typically requires state licensure as a Registered Nurse, 3-5+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse, and 2-4 years of experience supervising nurses.
