Sil Man Industries is a leading system integration company and is a licensed general contractor in 40+ states. Our team has built a deep portfolio working with leading distribution companies, manufacturers, and municipalities. As a QA/QC Manager, you will continue this legacy by supporting projects such as Multi-site system design and integration for OnTrac; a national program for Automated Singulation Solution;
Pack-Out System for Thredup;
Shipping System for Levi Strauss.

The QA/QC Manager is a remote role based in the Tupelo, MS office, supporting Sil Man's national footprint.

Travel will be required for this role, including, but not limited to, project sites, factory training, installation inspections, and system commissioning. Travel is not expected to exceed 35% annually.

The QA/QC Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the Quality Assurance and Quality Control Program for all implementation projects. This position ensures all work is performed in accordance with project specifications, engineering drawings, manufacturer requirements, contract documents, and applicable industry standards. The QA/QC Manager oversees inspections, documentation, punch-list management, testing, turnover packages, and continuous improvement efforts throughout the project lifecycle.

Here are a few of the responsibilities of the QA/QC Manager:

Quality Program Management

• Develop and maintain the project QA/QC Plan.
• Establish Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for all installation activities.
• Ensure compliance with customer and contract quality requirements.
• Lead quality meetings with project management, field supervision, and clients.
• Identify the critical stages of work that require quality verification, approval, and documentation before subsequent installation activities may proceed.

Documentation Control

• Maintain all QA/QC records.
• Manage NCR (Non-Conformance Report) process.
• Track deficiencies and corrective actions.
• Maintain punch-list database and closeout status.
• Prepare turnover documentation packages.

Client & Contractor Coordination

• Serve as primary quality representative with clients and consultants.
• Participate in owner inspections and audits.
• Coordinate third-party inspections when required.
• Prepare quality reports and project status updates.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Experience as a manager in material handling and/or manufacturing sectors, including automation and conveyor solutions
• QA/QC department experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• 5+ years in customer service, warranty, quality, or technical support.
• Strong computer skills required. Experience with Excel, ERP, and CRM preferred.
