Job Overview

Marmon Industrial Energy and Infrastructure, a division of Marmon Holdings, seeks a Quality Control Technician to ensure cable and wire products meet all specification standards before shipment. The role focuses on electrical testing, inspections, documentation, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical testing on in-process and finished products.
  • Conduct first‑article inspections to verify that products meet specification requirements.
  • Create, log, maintain, and complete proper documentation processes for wire and cable products.
  • Assist with the development of quality SOPs and support activities in compliance with ISO quality system procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with Marmon IEI Environmental, Health and Safety policies.
  • Participate in Lean/5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support Quality Improvement projects and R&D sample testing and process improvement sample testing.
  • Collaborate with peers, supervisors, managers, and other employees.
  • Perform additional projects and tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 4 years of quality inspection experience.
  • Basic arithmetic, computer skills (Excel and Word), and ability to read and write clearly.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, ability to multi‑task, and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a noisy manufacturing environment, tolerate high temperatures, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the wire and cable industry.
  • Hands‑on wire and cable experience.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for meeting customer‑specific requirements and specifications.
Working Conditions

Requires long hours standing, operating machinery, and wearing required PPE. Must follow safety guidelines and be able to work in high‑temperature, noisy environments.
