The Jewelry Consultant role at Kay Jewelers Outlet in Pearl, MS is a full-time, on-site position focused on delivering an exceptional in-store experience. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through jewelry selections while explaining product features, quality, and care. The Jewelry Consultant will perform retail sales activities such as presenting merchandise, processing transactions, handling returns or exchanges, and maintaining accurate records.

The role also involves keeping displays organized and visually appealing, ensuring security procedures are followed, and supporting store promotional activities. Collaboration with team members to meet sales goals, maintain store standards, and uphold company policies is an essential part of this position.

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with diverse customers and build trust.
• Ability to enhance the Customer Experience through attentive listening, personalized recommendations, and professional follow-up.
• Retail Sales experience, including working with POS systems, handling cash or card transactions, and meeting sales targets.
• Interest or background in Jewelry Design and jewelry products, with the ability to learn and explain product details and care.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior jewelry or retail experience is beneficial but not required.
• Reliable attendance, ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfort with standing for extended periods and performing tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and commitment to providing a respectful, inclusive customer and team environment.
