As a Driver with The Powell Company, responsibilities include:
Responsibilities- Deliver a wide variety of packages to different addresses and through different routes
- Follow routes and time schedule
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- Maintain vehicle in excellent operating condition; inform supervisor when repairs are needed
- Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve customer complaints
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent attendance and positive attitude
- Good driving record with no more than 1 speeding ticket
- Excellent customer service skills
- Great organizational and time management skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must be able to pass background screening
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times; must be able to lift up to 150 pounds with assistance. Involves frequent climbing into and out of vehicles.
