Shift Lead Position ProfileThe role of the Shift Lead is to perform the duties of a Client Services Coordinator or Vet Assistant when not filling in or assisting the Practice Manager or Chief of Staff in guiding the team to maximize productivity and profitability of the hospital. This position works with the Practice Manager and/or Chief of Staff (COS) to ensure effective communication with all clients and internal stakeholders and colleagues.
The right person for this job takes great enjoyment in:
Day‑to‑day supervision of the team, ensuring quality medical care and exceptional client service. Promote and model best practices, support staff development, schedule associates, and maintain compliance with all policies and procedures. Serve as a liaison between the practice manager, chief of staff, associates, and clients to maximize productivity, profitability, and client satisfaction.
Qualifications- Must believe preventive care is the best and only way to achieve a long and healthy life for each pet.
- Must embrace and thrive on providing exceptional client and pet experiences.
- Must be available to work weekend and evening shifts.
- Must be comfortable working in an environment with loud noise and strong smells.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have a minimum of two years of veterinary hospital experience.
$18.50 - $23.64 Hourly
